Real Property Law and Registration Diagnostic Report, USAID

Under contract with USAID, BearingPoint has reviewed the existing property rights laws in Iraq, especially those pertaining to housing finance, and issued a diagnostic report.  A number of problem areas were discovered that restricted home ownership at all income levels.  The diagnostic report identified the need for improvements in the identified areas and discuss the benefits and need for a housing cooperative law in Iraq.
