The 4th International Conference & Exhibition on Advanced Geospatial Science & Technology (4th TeanGeo 2024)
The Regional Center for Remote Sensing of North African States (CRTEAN) was pleased to announce the organization of the Fourth International Conference on Advanced Geospatial Science and Technology (TeanGeo 2024) and the accompanying exhibition, held in Tunis, Republic of Tunisia, from October 22 to 24, 2024.
CRTEAN, a regional governmental organization based in Tunisia, is dedicated to promoting and advancing the use of remote sensing and digital geospatial techniques among its member states. The Center focuses on sustainable development, scientific research, and related fields, while also providing capacity building and supporting the establishment of specialized institutions.
This conference aligned with the Center’s mission and brought together professionals, researchers, and decision-makers from across Africa, particularly North Africa, as well as from other regions. The event aimed to advance geospatial science and technology in the region, with a special focus on space technology and its applications in development—an increasingly critical area given the rapid technological advancements in these fields.
The 4th TeanGeo 2024 conference served as a platform adding new value and offering an excellent opportunity for producers, suppliers, trainers, and users of geospatial science and technology across all sectors. The conference provided a unique occasion for researchers and decision-makers from government agencies, academia, international organizations, and private and public companies to explore the latest techniques, space technologies, and applications, as well as to discover the most up-to-date software available.
Over 300 attendees, including researchers, specialists, and distinguished figures in the field of geospatial science from various countries, were expected to participate as official speakers and panelists.
