The report has been developed by the Norwegian Refugee Council in Sudan and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.

The report reveals the intricate relationship between HLP rights and sustainable peace and recovery, highlighting how unresolved HLP issues exacerbate vulnerabilities and hinder post-conflict rebuilding efforts. Throught its report, NRC urge the implementation of targeted strategies to ensure the recognition and protection of HLP rights in all phases of crisis management, from emergency response to long-term recovery, including in peace processes.
